KOLPilot uses one optional group of cookies: analytics. Nothing in this group runs before you accept it, and we do not use cookies for advertising.
Analytics (optional)
If you accept analytics, we load Google Tag Manager, which in turn loads Google Analytics. Google Analytics sets first-party _ga cookies in your browser and sends Google usage data such as the pages you open, approximate location derived from your IP address, and basic device and browser information. We use it to see which parts of KOLPilot are used so we can improve the product.
We run Google Analytics with Google Consent Mode v2 in basic mode. Until you accept, the Google Tag Manager script is not loaded at all, no request is sent to Google, and no Google Analytics cookie is written. When you accept, only analytics storage is granted — advertising storage, advertising user data, and ad personalization stay denied, so your data is not used to target ads.
Your choice, and where it is stored
Your answer is stored in your own browser, in local storage, under the key kolpilot.analytics-consent.v1. It is a first-party entry: it is never sent to us or to Google, it holds nothing but the word granted or denied, and it is what we read on your next visit so we do not ask again. Because it lives in the browser, the choice applies per browser and per device, and clearing your browser data resets it.
Changing or withdrawing your choice
You can change your mind at any time using the button below, or from Settings → General → Privacy & analytics when you are signed in. Turning analytics off stops further measurement on the page immediately, and Google Analytics is not loaded again on later visits. You can also delete the _gacookies and the stored choice through your browser’s own settings.
Cookies we cannot switch off
Signing in sets a session cookie that keeps you signed in. It is required for the product to work, is not used for measurement or advertising, and is therefore not part of the choice above. Signing out removes it.
